Tom has lived in Terre Haute, Indiana his entire life. He graduated from Schulte High School in 1967 and Indiana State University in 1971 with his B.S. in business administration. He obtained his M.B.A from Indiana University in 1973 and then joined family-owned Newlin-Johnson Company, Inc. In 1982, he began his law school education and graduated from Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis in 1986 with honors.
Since 1986, Tom has devoted his professional career to personal injury,Social Security Disability, and probate law. He is the managing partner of the Social Security Department.
Tom has always been extremely active in his community. He has been a Rotarian for more than 30 years, where he has served as club president and has also been awarded the prestigious Paul Harris Fellowship Award. He has served as president and campaign chairman of the Wabash Valley United Way. Tom is actively involved in numerous other philanthropic activities. In addition, he has served as a soccer coach, Boys Club Basketball coach, North Terre Haute Little League coach, Vigo County Youth Football coach, and a Terre Haute North football coach.
Tom's goal is to live his professional, personal, and family life as an example of integrity and sincerity of purpose while servicing clients and enhancing relationships.
